Abstract

A conductor apparatus includes at least one insulated conductor, a protective layer, and an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield. The at least one insulated conductor extends in a first direction. The protective layer surrounds the at least one insulated conductor. The protective layer includes a first lateral portion and a second lateral portion including an adhesive coupled to the first lateral portion. The first lateral portion and the second lateral portion define an edge extending in the first direction. The EMI shield is disposed between the at least one insulated conductor and the protective layer.
