MCP server (coming soon)

An MCP server is coming soon. It will let AI agents such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, or your own, search US patents and read them in full.

What it will do

• Search patents by words, query syntax or a plain description of an invention.
• Read one patent in full: claims, dates, parties and classification.
• Follow citations and find prior art for a patent.
• Look up technology classes by code.

Until then, agents can call the HTTP API directly with the same key.
