Manufacturing method of plasma display panel

A method for manufacturing at least one plasma display panel from a first and a second substrate, the plasma display panel comprising barrier ribs for partitioning discharge cells and electrodes for discharging respective discharge cells, the method comprising forming a plurality of barrier ribs, wherein the forming of the barrier ribs comprises:

• forming a barrier rib forming layer on the first substrate;
• forming a resist covering the barrier rib forming layer;
• patterning the resist to form a plurality of openings thereof corresponding to a predetermined discharge cell pattern;
• etching the barrier rib forming layer according to the plurality of openings;
• and
• baking the etched barrier rib forming layer,
• wherein, during the patterning of the resist, an area of an opening distal from a center of the first substrate is formed differently from an area of an opening in the vicinity of the center of the first substrate.
