A novel maize variety designated X05K660 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X05K660 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X05K660 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X05K660, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X05K660. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X05K660.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05K660, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1 KTF with a second plant of variety PH2RNJ, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1 KTF and PH2RNJ have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-120356 and PTA-124330, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05K660 further comprising at least a first transgene, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1 KTF with a second plant of variety PH2RNJ, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1 KTF and PH2RNJ have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-120356 and PTA-124330, respectively, and wherein the transgene has been introduced into at least one of variety PH1 KTF and variety PH2RNJ.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X05K660 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1 KTF with a second plant of variety PH2RNJ;
