Abstract
A novel sweet corn hybrid plant, designated HMX4369BS is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of sweet corn hybrid HMX4369BS, to the plants and plant parts of sweet corn hybrid HMX4369BS, and to methods for producing a sweet corn plant by crossing the sweet corn hybrid HMX4369BS with itself or another sweet corn plant. The invention further relates to methods for producing a sweet corn plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by that method and to methods for producing other sweet corn plants derived from the sweet corn hybrid plant HMX4369BS.
Claims24
A seed of sweet corn hybrid designated HMX4369BS, wherein a representative sample of seed of said hybrid having been deposited under NCIMB No. 42797.
A sweet corn plant, or a part, or a plant cell thereof, wherein the plant or a plant regenerated from the part or the plant cell has all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of hybrid HMX4369BS listed in Table 1 when grown under the same environmental conditions, wherein a representative sample of seed of HMX4369BS has been deposited under NCIMB No. 42797.
A method for producing a transgenic sweet corn plant, the method comprising transforming at least one transgene into a sweet corn hybrid HMX4369BS plant, or a plant part or a plant cell thereof or parental line used for producing the sweet corn hybrid plant HMX4369BS, a sample seed of said hybrid having been deposited under NCIMB No. 42797, thereby producing a transgenic sweet corn plant.
