A novel maize variety designated X13H947 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13H947 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13H947 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X13H947, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13H947. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13H947.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13H947, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHV92 with a second plant of variety PH183H, wherein representative seed of the varieties PHV92 and PH183H have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-12176 and PTA-120429, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13H947 further comprising at least a first transgene.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X13H947 seed comprising at least a first single locus conversion, the seed further comprising the locus conversion being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHV92 with a second plant of variety PH183H;
