Device for filling a thin-walled transport container with notes of value

A receiving unit for receiving a thin-walled transport container to be filled with notes of value by a supply unit, a stacking unit, and a stuffing unit, the receiving unit comprising:

• a closing unit for closing the thin-walled transport container;
• and
• a contact sensor including:
• a rod rotatably mounted about a longitudinal axis thereof, the rod having a first rotary position in which the contact sensor generates no signal and a second rotary position in which the contact sensor generates a signal;
• a contact tab at a first end of the rod, the contact tab rotates the rod from the first rotary position to the second rotary position when the contact tab is contacted by a bottom of the thin-walled transport container;
• and
• a switching flag at a second end of the rod that is rotated by the rod as the rod is moved from the first rotary position to the second rotary position, the switching flag triggers generation of a signal when the rod rotates to the second rotary position;
• wherein the closing unit closes the thin-walled transport container when the thin-walled transport container is filled enough such that the bottom of the thin-walled transport container contacts the contact tab of the contact sensor.
