Abstract
A disinfecting unit and method of operating the same includes a cabinet and a support arm having a first position within the cabinet and a second position at least partially outside the cabinet. A lamp arm is rotatably coupled to the support arm. The support arm comprises a folded position in the first position and an unfolded position in the second position. A lamp is coupled to the lamp arm. A nebulizer is coupled to the cabinet that dispenses disinfecting fluid therethrough.

A disinfecting unit comprising:
- a cabinet;
- a support arm having a first position within the cabinet and a second position at least partially outside the cabinet;
- a lamp arm rotatably coupled to the support arm, said support arm comprising a folded position in the first position and an unfolded position in the second position;
- a lamp coupled to the lamp arm;
- and
- a nebulizer coupled to the cabinet that dispenses disinfecting fluid therethrough.

A method comprising:
- generating a fog through a nebulizer;
- rotating a cabinet of a disinfecting unit so that the nebulizer rotates relative to a base coupled to the cabinet;
- opening top side doors;
- extending a support arm having a lamp arm coupled thereto;
- moving the lamp arm to deploy a lamp into a disinfecting position;
- activating the lamp;
- and
- rotating the cabinet relative to the base and rotating the lamp around an axis formed by the support arm.
