Method and apparatus for transmitting signal in wireless communication system

A user equipment (UE) for signal reception in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:

• a radio frequency unit;
• and
• a processor coupled to the radio frequency unit and configured to:
• obtain a precoding bandwidth by using radio resource control (RRC) layer signaling,
• wherein the precoding bandwidth indicates two or more consecutive resource blocks wherein the UE expects that a common precoding matrix is used in the two or more consecutive resource blocks indicated by the precoding bandwidth, and
• wherein a size of the two or more consecutive resource blocks indicated by the precoding bandwidth depends on a system bandwidth allocated by the wireless communication system;
• instruct the radio frequency unit to receive, from a base station, a pre-coded signal via the one or more consecutive resource blocks;
• and
• decode the received pre-coded signal based on the common precoding matrix.
