Method of reducing an impact of stressful conditions on intestinal mucosa quality of a ruminant animal, comprising:
- administering a food additive in a feed or a drink of the ruminant animal so as to reduce the impact of the stressful conditions on the intestinal mucosa quality,
- wherein the food additive comprises a sweetener and a potentiator.
