Bracket for connection of a junction box to photovoltaic panels

An apparatus, comprising:

• a fastener having a first end and a second end, wherein the fastener is configured to extend between at least two photovoltaic panels each comprising a first side and a second side, the first end of the fastener is disposed on the first sides of the at least two photovoltaic panels, and the second end of the fastener is disposed on the second sides of the at least two photovoltaic panels;
• a bracket connected to the first end of the fastener, wherein the bracket is configured to enable attachment to the bracket of a device configured to service the at least two photovoltaic panels;
• and
• a plate connected to the second end of the fastener,
• wherein the fastener, the bracket, and the plate are configured to clamp the at least two photovoltaic panels between the bracket and the plate, and
• wherein the at least two photovoltaic panels comprises four photovoltaic panels.

A method, comprising:

• attaching a first device configured to service at least two photovoltaic panels to a bracket of a mounting device, wherein the bracket comprises a mounting surface configured to attach the first device thereto;
• and
• clamping the at least two photovoltaic panels between a plate of the mounting device and the bracket of the mounting device, wherein the at least two photovoltaic panels are clamped to a side of the bracket opposite of the mounting surface,
• wherein the first device comprises a junction box configured to electrically connect the at least two photovoltaic panels.
