Information processing apparatus and data repairing method

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having stored therein a program for causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:

• performing a repair process including detecting whether there is any abnormality in data read out from the first storage area, repairing data in which abnormality is detected as a result of the detection, and storing the repaired data in the second storage area;
• performing a determination process of determining whether one or more addresses of changed data, which is data changed in the repair process most recently performed in the first storage area, include an address that is identical with one or more addresses of a read-out source of abnormal data, which is data detected in the repair process most recently performed;
• performing, when identical addresses are determined to be present in the determination process most recently performed, the repair process and the determination process on data read out from an area indicated by one or more addresses of the changed data in the first storage area and one or more addresses of the read-out source of the abnormal data;
• writing, when identical addresses are determined not to be present in the determination process most recently performed, the data repaired in the repair process most recently performed into the address of the read-out source of the abnormal data in the first storage area.

A data repairing method realized by having a computer execute a process, the process comprising:

• performing a repair process including detecting whether there is any abnormality in data read out from the first storage area, repairing data in which abnormality is detected as a result of the detection, and storing the repaired data in the second storage area;
• performing a determination process of determining whether one or more addresses of changed data, which is data changed in the repair process most recently performed in the first storage area, include an address that is identical with one or more addresses of a read-out source of abnormal data, which is data detected in the repair process most recently performed;
• performing, when identical addresses are determined to be present in the determination process most recently performed, the repair process and the determination process on data read out from an area indicated by one or more addresses of the changed data in the first storage area and one or more addresses of the read-out source of the abnormal data;
• writing, when identical addresses are determined not to be present in the determination process most recently performed, the data repaired in the repair process most recently performed into the address of the read-out source of the abnormal data in the first storage area.
