Abstract
Novel stable aqueous suspensions of a functionalized, completely or partially hydrogenated nitrile rubber are provided with very low emulsifier content and small particle diameter, furtheron a process for production thereof and the use thereof for producing composite materials via coating of substrate materials with the suspension.
Claims17
An aqueous suspension of a carboxylated, completely or partially hydrogenated nitrite rubber with an emulsifier content of less than 1 part by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the carboxylated, completely or partially hydrogenated nitrile rubber, wherein the average particle diameter of the carboxylated, completely or partially hydrogenated nitrite rubber in the suspension is in the range from 0.01 to 0.9 micrometer, measured by means of dynamic light scattering.
