Abstract
A solar cell module includes a plurality of solar cells each comprising a substrate, an emitter region placed at the substrate, and an anti-reflection region placed on the emitter region. The anti-reflection region includes a first opening region through which part of the emitter region is exposed and one or more second opening regions through which part of the emitter region is exposed. A first electrode is connected to the exposed emitter region of the first opening region through the anti-reflection region by metal plating and a first bus bar is connected to the exposed emitter region of one or more second opening regions through the anti-reflection region by metal plating.
Claims25
A solar cell module, comprising:
- a plurality of solar cells each comprising a substrate having a first conductive type, an emitter region having a second conductive type opposite to the first conductive type of the substrate and at a front surface of the substrate, an anti-reflection region on a front surface of the emitter region, first electrodes on the front surface of the substrate, first bus bars on a front surface of the substrate and connected to the first electrodes, second electrodes on a back surface of the substrate, and second bus bars on the back surface of the substrate and connected to the second electrodes;
- and
- an interconnector to electrically connect a first bus bar of one of the plurality of solar cells to a first bus bar of an adjacent solar cell or to a second bus bar of an adjacent solar cell of the plurality of solar cells,
- wherein the anti-reflection region comprises a plurality of first opening regions through which a portion of the emitter region is exposed and a plurality of second opening regions through which a different portion of the emitter region is exposed,
- wherein each of the first electrodes is connected to the exposed emitter region through each of the first opening regions by metal plating and each of the first bus bars is connected to the exposed emitter region through the plurality of second opening regions by metal plating,
- wherein each of first electrodes extends in a first direction, and each of first bus bars extends in a second direction crossing the first direction,
- wherein each of first opening regions extends in the first direction, and each of second opening regions extends in the second direction, and
- wherein each of first bus bars is overlapped with at least two of second opening regions of the plurality of second opening regions.
