Abstract
The present invention provides an inbred corn line designated FF7354, methods for producing a corn plant by crossing plants of the inbred line FF7354 with plants of another corn plant. The invention further encompasses all parts of inbred corn line FF7354, including culturable cells. Additionally provided herein are methods for introducing transgenes into inbred corn line FF7354, and plants produced according to these methods.
Claims19
A seed of maize plant FF7354, representative seed sample of said maize plant deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-13466.
A maize plant FF7354, a representative seed sample of said FF7354 plant having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-13466.
A process of introducing a heritable trait into maize plant FF7354 comprising:
- (a) crossing FF7354 plants grown from FF7354 seed, representative seed sample of said maize plant deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-13466, with plants of another maize plant that comprise a desired trait to produce hybrid progeny plants, (b) selecting hybrid progeny plants that have the desired trait to produce selected hybrid progeny plants;
- (c) crossing the selected progeny plants with the FF7354 plants to produce backcross progeny plants;
- (d) selecting for backcross progeny plants that have the desired trait to produce selected backcross progeny plants;
- and (e) repeating steps (c) and (d) at least three or more times to produce backcross progeny plants that comprise the desired trait and all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize inbred plant FF7354 when grown in the same environmental conditions.
