Abstract
A novel maize variety designated PH1VTZ and seed, plants and plant parts thereof. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprise crossing maize variety PH1VTZ with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into PH1VTZ through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. Hybrid maize seed, plant or plant part produced by crossing the variety PH1VTZ or a locus conversion of PH1VTZ with another maize variety.
Claims19
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH1VTZ, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-121898.
A converted seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH1VTZ, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-121898, wherein said seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of said inbred maize variety PH1VTZ further comprises a locus conversion, and wherein said converted plant or a plant, grown from said converted seed, or said converted plant part or plant cell otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of inbred maize variety PH1VTZ listed in Table 1 when grown in the same environmental conditions.
A method of collecting Molecular data comprising a) isolating nucleic acids from the seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of 10;
- and b) recording data based on said nucleic acids.
