Penile prosthesis implantation device

A penile prosthesis implantation device comprising:

• a barrel having a bore;
• an obturator having a distal end that is received within the bore and configured to slide along a longitudinal axis of the bore relative to the barrel, the distal end including one or more bore engaging members, each bore engaging member radially separated from a central portion of the distal end of the obturator by a gap, and having a surface that is configured to engage an interior wall of the bore when the obturator is received within the bore;
• and
• a needle clamp at the distal end of the obturator configured to hold a thread attachment end of a needle;
• wherein the surface of each of the one or more bore engaging members is radially displaced from the longitudinal axis a greater distance than the pinching members.
