Reservoir tank and brake system using the reservoir tank

A reservoir tank for use in a vehicle having a vehicle body, a vehicle front side and a vehicle rear side, the reservoir tank being configured to be attached to the vehicle body, and the reservoir tank being formed by welding together an upper half body and a lower half body and which stores hydraulic fluid inside,

• the upper half body having at least a tubular neck section which has a hydraulic fluid inlet and a trunk section disposed integrally on the neck section, and
• the reservoir tank also comprising a hydraulic fluid movement deterring wall that controls movement of the hydraulic fluid toward the hydraulic fluid inlet at a time when the reservoir tank is tilted, the hydraulic fluid movement deterring wall being molded integrally with the upper half body on an inner peripheral surface of the neck section or on a boundary portion between the inner peripheral surface of the neck section and an inner surface of the trunk section, and
• wherein the hydraulic fluid movement deterring wall has a triangular longitudinal section shape, an under surface of the hydraulic fluid movement deterring wall has a gradient inclined and configured to become lower toward the vehicle rear side when the reservoir tank is attached to the vehicle body, and an upper surface of the hydraulic fluid movement deterring wall has a gradient inclined and configured to become higher toward the vehicle rear side when the reservoir tank is attached to the vehicle body.
