Abstract
A flat panel display device includes a pixel circuit provided on a substrate, a pixel wiring, an inspection pad connected to the pixel circuit through the pixel wiring, a main wiring separated from the inspection pad by a gap, and a common electrode covering substantially the entire substrate and electrically connecting the inspection pad to the main wiring.
Claims18
A method for manufacturing a flat panel display device, the method comprising:
- forming a pixel circuit, a pixel wiring connected to the pixel circuit, an inspection pad connected to the pixel wiring, and a main wiring separated from the inspection pad by a gap;
- inspecting whether the pixel wiring has a defect or not by applying an inspection signal to the inspection pad;
- and
- after the inspecting, forming a common electrode covering at least two pixel electrodes of the flat panel display device and electrically connecting the inspection pad to the main wiring.
