Abstract
An electronic cigarette includes a shell and a mouthpiece. The external wall of the shell has an air inlet. An atomizer and a liquid-supply are in contact with each other. The air inlet, atomizer, an aerosol passage, and a mouthpiece are sequentially interconnected.

An electronic cigarette, comprising:
- a housing having an inlet and an outlet;
- a liquid storage body in the housing holding a liquid;
- an air flow path through the housing;
- and
- an atomizer in the housing between the inlet and the outlet including:
- a porous body in contact with the liquid storage body;
- and
- a heating wire in the atomizer surrounded by the porous body.

- a housing having an inlet and an outlet;
- a liquid storage body in the housing holding a liquid;
- an air flow path through the housing;
- and
- a porous cylindrical atomizer in the housing between the inlet and the outlet, with the porous cylindrical atomizer in contact with the liquid storage body;

- a heating wire coil within and surrounded by the porous cylindrical atomizer.
