Data reproduction apparatus and data reproduction control method

A data playback apparatus comprising:

• a playback module configured to play image data;
• a resolution selection module configured to select a resolution among resolutions;
• an image quality mode selection module configured to select either on or off state of an image quality mode;
• a selection disable module configured to disable the image quality mode selection module to select the on state of the image quality mode when the resolution selection module selects a first resolution;
• and
• an image processor configured to improve a quality of the image data played by the playback module in accordance with the resolution selected by the resolution selection module when the image quality mode selection module selects the on state of the image quality mode.

A data playback control method for use in a data playback apparatus comprising:

• playing image data;
• selecting a resolution among resolutions;
• selecting either on or off state of an image quality mode;
• improving a quality of the image data to be played when the on state of the image quality mode is selected;
• and
• disabling to select a first resolution among the resolutions when the on state of the image quality mode is selected and enabling to select remaining resolutions among the resolutions.

A data playback control method comprising:

• playing image data;
• selecting a resolution among resolutions;
• selecting either on or off state of an image quality mode;
• disabling to select a first resolution among the resolutions when the on state of the image quality mode is selected;
• improving a quality of the image data to be played when the on state of the image quality mode is selected;
• and
• disabling to select the on state of the image quality mode when a second resolution is selected.
