Display device

A display device comprising:

• a display panel displaying an image;
• a circuit board providing the display panel with a driving signal;
• and
• a backlight assembly, comprising:
• a light source generating light;
• a single unitary indivisible bottom chassis configured to receive the light source, the bottom chassis being electrically conductive and comprising:
• a bottom plate comprising a front surface facing the light source, and a rear surface opposite to the front surface, the circuit board disposed on the rear surface of the bottom plate;
• and
• a sidewall extending from the bottom plate to define a receiving space configured to receive the light source;
• and
• a grounding member on the rear surface of the bottom plate, the grounding member integrally formed with the bottom plate;
• an upper frame coupled to the bottom chassis configured to receive the display panel;
• and
• an insulation layer disposed between the circuit board and the rear surface of the bottom plate,
• wherein
• the insulation layer defines an opening exposing the circuit board and a portion of the rear surface of the bottom plate, and through which the grounding member protrudes, and
• the grounding member comprises:
• an extension portion which extends toward the circuit board in a first direction;
• and
• a contact portion which further extends from the extension portion in a second direction different from the first direction, and contacts the circuit board.
