Abstract
A floor standing pedestal fan for creating an air current includes a base housing an impeller and a motor for rotating the impeller to create an air flow, an air outlet, and a telescopic duct for conveying the air flow to the air outlet.
Claims33
A fan assembly comprising a nozzle mounted on a pedestal, the pedestal comprising a device for creating an air flow and a telescopic duct for supporting the nozzle and for conveying the air flow to the nozzle, the nozzle comprising a mouth for emitting the air flow, the nozzle extending about an opening through which air from outside the nozzle is drawn by the air flow emitted from the mouth, wherein the pedestal comprises a base housing said device for creating an air flow, the duct extending between the base and the air outlet.
A fan assembly comprising a nozzle mounted on a pedestal, the pedestal comprising a device for creating an air flow and a telescopic duct for supporting the nozzle and for conveying the air flow to the nozzle, the nozzle comprising a mouth for emitting the air flow, the nozzle extending about an opening through which air from outside the nozzle is drawn by the air flow emitted from the mouth, wherein the nozzle comprises an interior passage for receiving the air flow from the duct and for conveying the air flow to the mouth.
A fan assembly comprising a nozzle mounted on a pedestal, the pedestal comprising a device for creating an air flow and a telescopic duct for supporting the nozzle and for conveying the air flow to the nozzle, the nozzle comprising a mouth for emitting the air flow, the nozzle extending about an opening through which air from outside the nozzle is drawn by the air flow emitted from the mouth, wherein the nozzle is pivotable relative to the duct.
