Abstract
Exemplary embodiments are directed to tool bit holders that generally include a tool bit cartridge defined by side walls located opposite and facing away from each other, and at least one end wall that defines a curved, angled or staggered geometry. The exemplary tool bit holders generally include a pivot point located on the side walls of the tool bit cartridge. The tool bit cartridge includes tool bit storage holes in the at least one end wall. The tool bit cartridge generally rotates about the pivot point within a cavity of a device.
Claims20
A tool bit holder, comprising:
- a tool bit cartridge defined by side walls located opposite and facing away from each other, and at least one end wall that defines a curved, angled or staggered geometry, and
- a pivot point located on the side walls of the tool bit cartridge,
- wherein the tool bit cartridge includes tool bit storage holes in the at least one end wall, at least two of the tool bit storage holes defining different depths, and
- wherein the tool bit cartridge rotates about the pivot point within a cavity of a device.

A tool bit holder, comprising:
- a tool bit cartridge defined by side walls located opposite and facing away from each other, and defined by first and second end walls located opposite and facing away from each other,
- a first set of tool bit storage holes located in the first end wall,
- a second set of tool bit storage holes located in the second end wall, and
- a pivot point located on the side walls of the tool bit cartridge,
- wherein at least one of the first and second sets of tool bit storage holes is dimensioned such that exposed ends of tool bits extending from the at least one of the first and second sets of tool bit storage holes produce a curved, angled or staggered geometry, the curved, angled or staggered geometry being defined by an exposed end of a first tool bit extending a different height relative to an exposed end of a second tool bit, and
- wherein the tool bit cartridge rotates about the pivot point within a cavity of a device.

A tool bit holder, comprising:
- a tool bit cartridge defined by side walls located opposite and facing away from each other, and defined by end walls located opposite and facing away from each other,
- tool bit storage holes located in at least one of the end walls, and
- a pivot point located on the side walls of the tool bit cartridge,
- wherein a depth of the tool bit storage holes is dimensioned such that exposed ends of tool bits extending from the tool bit storage holes produce a curved, angled or staggered geometry, the curved, angled or staggered geometry being defined by an exposed end of a first tool bit extending a different height relative to an exposed end of a second tool bit, and
- wherein the tool bit cartridge rotates about the pivot point within a cavity of a device.
