Abstract
Disclosed herein are ester-terminated polyimide gellant compounds end-caped with isosorbide and UV curable ink compositions containing them.

A curable solid ink comprising:
- a curable wax;
- one or more acrylate monomers;
- an amide gellant, wherein the gellant is an ester-terminated polyamide resin end-capped with isosorbide in which the isosorbide defines the ester termination;
- an optional colorant;
- and a photoinitiator.
