Abstract
The present invention relates to methods for predicting the response to treatment with an agonist of TLR7, or an agonist of TLR8 or an anti-cancer agent for treating cancer, in particular non-small cell lung cancer comprising the step of detecting the expression of TLR7 or TLR8 in cancer cells of said patient.
Claims4
A method for treating a cancer patient who does not express TLR7 in cancer cells comprising
- determining whether said cancer patient expresses TLR7 in cancer cells;
- and
- administering a therapeutically effective amount of an agonist of TLR7 if said cancer patient does not express TLR7 in cancer cells.
