Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for the use in improving vascular health, including treating and preventing vascular diseases and diseases related thereto, using a botanical extract of oil palm vegetation liquor from the palm oil milling process.
Claims16
A method for the treatment of a cardiovascular disease in a subject in need thereof, said method comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a water soluble extract obtained from vegetation liquor of a palm oil milling process, wherein said extract does not contain components having a molecular weight above 41,000 Daltons.
