Abstract
An axle bearing system includes a bearing portion which includes an inner ring, an outer ring and a plurality of rolling elements which are interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring and which is installed on a hub shaft with seal portions which are each formed by a slinger, a core metal and a non-conductive seal provided therebetween mounted in annular opening portions formed between the inner ring and the outer ring. A conductive body is attached to the seal portion so as to provide an electrical conducting state between the outer ring and the inner ring.
Claims17
An axle bearing system comprising:
- an inner ring;
- an outer ring, an annular opening portion being formed between the inner ring and the outer ring;
- a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring;
- a seal portion that comprises a slinger provided in the annular opening portion, a core metal provided in the annular opening portion and a non-conductive seal provided between the slinger and the core metal;
- and
- a conductive body attached to the seal portion to provide an electrical conducting state between the outer ring and the inner ring.
An axle bearing system comprising:
- a hub shaft;
- a bearing portion attached to the hub shaft, the bearing portion comprising:
- an inner ring;
