Ophthalmic apparatus, ophthalmic system, processing apparatus, and blood flow velocity calculation method

A method for calculating a blood flow velocity, the method comprising:

• irradiating a subject's eye with a measurement beam scanned by a scanning unit;
• acquiring an image of a fundus of the subject's eye based on a return beam, from the subject's eye, of the irradiated measurement beam;
• and
• calculating a blood flow velocity of the subject's eye based on a displacement between a position of a blood cell in an acquired first image and a position of the blood cell in a second image acquired at a different time from the first image and a difference between time when the blood cell in the first image is scanned with the measurement beam by the scanning unit and time when the blood cell in the second image is scanned with the measurement beam by the scanning unit,
• wherein the difference is determined based on a time between frames and on a time for scanning the measurement beam for the displacement.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having program code stored thereon to perform a method for calculating a blood flow velocity, the method comprising:

• irradiating a subject's eye with a measurement beam scanned by a scanning unit;
• acquiring an image of a fundus of the subject's eye based on a return beam, from the subject's eye, of the irradiated measurement beam;
• and
• calculating a blood flow velocity of the subject's eye based on a displacement between a position of a blood cell in an acquired first image and a position of the blood cell in a second image acquired at a different time from the first image and a difference between time when the blood cell in the first image is scanned with the measurement beam by the scanning unit and time when the blood cell in the second image is scanned with the measurement beam by the scanning unit,
• wherein the difference is determined based on a time between frames and on a time for scanning the measurement beam for the displacement.
