System for managing media content for a personal television channel

A device, comprising:

• a memory to store instructions;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor, responsive to executing the instructions performs operations comprising:
• transmitting to a second media processor a request to access a first media content option in a selected time slot of a personal television channel, wherein the personal television channel comprises a plurality of media content options for each time slot, wherein the first media content option is sourced from the second media processor, and wherein the request comprises a first device identifier;
• and
• receiving the first media content option for the selected time slot from the second media processor responsive to the first device identifier matching one of a plurality of device identifiers associated with the first media content option.

A server device, comprising:

• a memory to store computer instructions;
• a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor,
• responsive to executing the computer instructions, performs operations comprising:
• presenting via a media communication system a plurality of selectable graphical user interface templates and a plurality of modules for selecting media content for display in a personal television channel, wherein the plurality of selectable graphical user interface templates and the plurality of modules form a plurality of media content options for a time slot;
• and
• receiving information to associate a first media content option with a plurality of device identifiers, wherein the first media content option is sourced from a first media processor, wherein a matching of a first device identifier with one of the plurality of device identifiers by a second media processor enables presentation of the first media content option at the second media processor.
