Abstract
A fluid container for a printing system is provided having a body defining a fluid reservoir, a first fluid port for connecting the fluid reservoir to a first fluid path of a printhead of the printing system, a second fluid port for connecting the fluid reservoir to a second fluid path of the printhead, and a third fluid port for connecting the fluid reservoir to a third fluid path to a gas vent.

A replaceable ink cartridge for a gravity-fed inkjet printhead, the ink cartridge comprising:
- a body defining an ink reservoir;
- and
- an end cap sealingly fixed to the body and defining a sidewall of the ink cartridge, the end cap comprising:
- a first fluid port for connecting the ink reservoir to an inlet of the inkjet printhead;
- a second fluid port for connecting the ink reservoir to an outlet of the inkjet printhead;
- a third fluid port open to atmosphere;
- a filter plate extending into the body, the filter plate being positioned towards a base of the body;
- a first channel extending into the body from the first fluid port;
- and
- a second channel extending between the first channel and the filter plate.
