Grill with multi-sided access

A grill comprising:

• a grill body having a front side, a right side, a left side and a rear side;
• a shelf adjacent to said grill body;
• a first lid pivotally affixed to said grill body;
• a second lid pivotally affixed to said grill body;
• said first lid and said second lid are mechanically linked to ensure synchronized movement from an open position to a closed position;
• and
• wherein said first lid and said second lid are completely below a plane defined by an upper surface of said shelf when said first lid and said second lid are in said open position;
• said shelf has a right portion adjacent to said right side of said grill body, a left portion adjacent to said left side of said grill body, and a rear portion adjacent to said rear side of said grill body;
• and
• said grill body and said right portion of said shelf define a right retracting space therebetween;
• said grill body and said left portion of said shelf define a left retracting space therebetween;
• said first lid is received within said right retracting space when said first lid is pivoted to said open position;
• said second lid is received within said left retracting space when said second lid is pivoted to said open position.
