Abstract
A system for processing an audio speech stream during a wireless dispatch communication session obtains processing criteria from an originating wireless device and defines a filter according to the obtained processing criteria. The system receives an audio speech stream at a dispatch serving node and generates one or more filtered audio streams with the filter, and sends the one or more filtered audio streams to a receiving wireless device.
Claims19
A method of processing an audio speech stream during a wireless dispatch communication session, the method comprising:
- obtaining processing criteria from an originating wireless device, the processing criteria comprising at least one of a location of the originating wireless device, time information indicating a time of day when the audio speech stream will be processed, and calendar information indicating a date when the audio speech stream will be processed;
- defining a filter according to the obtained processing criteria;
- receiving the audio speech stream at a dispatch serving node;
- generating one or more filtered audio streams with the filter;
- and
- sending the one or more filtered audio streams to a receiving wireless device.
A wireless communication system for processing an audio speech stream during a wireless dispatch communication session, comprising:
- a processing node configured for:
- obtaining processing criteria from an originating wireless device, the processing criteria comprising at least one of a location of the originating wireless device, time information indicating a time of day when the audio speech stream will be processed, and calendar information indicating a date when the audio speech stream will be processed;
- defining a filter according to the obtained processing criteria;
- receiving the audio speech stream;
- generating one or more filtered audio streams with the filter;
- and
- sending the one or more filtered audio streams to a receiving wireless device.
