A novel maize variety designated X08B787 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof, produced by crossing Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprises crossing hybrid maize variety X08B787 with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X08B787 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X08B787, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X08B787. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X08B787.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X08B787, wherein representative seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHE3D with a second plant of variety PH1D1W, and wherein representative seed of said varieties PHE3D and PH1D1W have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-7508 and PTA-120170, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X08B787 further comprising a locus conversion, wherein said seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHE3D with a second plant of variety PH1D1W;
A hybrid maize plant with all of the same morphological and physiological traits of hybrid maize variety X08B787, wherein the representative seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHE3D with a second plant of variety PH1D1W, and wherein representative seed of said varieties PHE3D and PH1D1W have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-7508 and PTA-120170, respectively.
