Network system and communication device

A second communication device to be connected with a server in a communicable manner, the server comprising a keyword database cumulatively storing a plurality of keywords used for a plurality of search processes carried out by a first communication device, and the second communication device having a printing function, a scan function or a combination thereof, the second communication device comprising:

• an input device that allows a user to input a part of characters included in a character string composing one word;
• a keyword acquisition device capable of acquiring, from the keyword database which is cumulatively storing the plurality of keywords, when only the part of characters is input to the input device, a specific keyword including the part of characters input to the input device identified by the server;
• and
• a search device capable of carrying out a search process that includes sending the specific keyword acquired by the keyword acquisition device to a search engine and receiving a search result.

A second communication device to be connected with a first communication device in a communicable manner and the second communication device having a printing function, a scan function or a combination thereof, the second communication device comprising:

• a keyword database that cumulatively stores a plurality of keywords used for a plurality of search processes by the first communication device;
• an input device that allows a user to input a part of characters included in a character string composing one word;
• a keyword acquisition device capable of acquiring, from the keyword database which is cumulatively storing the plurality of keywords, when only the part of characters is input to the input device, a specific keyword including the part of characters input to the input device;
• and
• a search device capable of carrying out a search process that includes sending the specific keyword acquired by the keyword acquisition device to a search engine and receiving a search result.
