Abstract
Upon designating bookbinding print, preview images are displayed in a layout after bookbinding. When “store” of intermediate data is designated in a print process, a spooler (302) stores intermediate data and an output job setup file in a spool file (303). When the stored job is selected, a previewer (306) displays a list of jobs, and displays a print preview image. In this case, upon setting bookbinding print, pages are displayed in a spread state, and order after bookbinding. Also, the open direction (right or left open), and the bookbinding unit are also expressed on preview images.
Claims15
An information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a reception unit configured to receive a designation of a bookbinding printing for creation of a book or a designation of one-sided printing, wherein the book is formed by stacking a plurality of printed sheets and then folding the plurality of printed sheets;
- and
- a display control unit configured to display a preview image of spread pages of the book based on pages to be printed when the designation of the bookbinding printing has been received, and display a preview image of each page based on the pages to be printed and the designation of one-sided printing when the designation of one-sided printing has been received,
- wherein a page to be printed on a first sheet and a page to be printed on a second sheet are displayed as the preview image of spread pages.
A method performed by an information processing apparatus, comprising:
- receiving a designation of a bookbinding printing for creation of a book or a designation of one-sided printing, wherein the book is formed by stacking a plurality of printed sheets and then folding the plurality of printed sheets;
- displaying a preview image of spread pages of the book based on pages to be printed when the designation of the bookbinding printing has been received;
- and
- displaying a preview image of each page based on the pages to be printed and the designation of one-sided printing when the designation of one-sided printing has been received,
- wherein a page to be printed on a first sheet and a page to be printed on a second sheet are displayed as the preview image of spread pages.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program for causing a computer to perform a method, the method comprising:
- receiving a designation of a bookbinding printing for creation of a book or a designation of one-sided printing, wherein the book is formed by stacking a plurality of printed sheets and then folding the plurality of printed sheets;
- displaying a preview image of spread pages of the book based on pages to be printed when the designation of the bookbinding printing has been received;
- and
- displaying a preview image of each page based on the pages to be printed and the designation of one-sided printing when the designation of one-sided printing has been received,
- wherein a page to be printed on a first sheet and a page to be printed on a second sheet are displayed as the preview image of spread pages.
