An adsorption unit comprising an adsorbent hollow fiber in which the fiber includes an active component and means for transmitting heat.
Claims28
An adsorption unit comprising:
- an adsorbent hollow fibre comprising a first layer containing a first active component and a second layer containing a means for transmitting heat, the first layer and the second layer being discrete layers.
An adsorption unit comprising:
- an adsorbent hollow fibre including an active component and means for transmitting heat;
- and
- wherein the hollow fibre has a mechanical load strength of greater than 200 g force at a crosshead speed of 1.0 mm/sec for a hollow fibre with an effective porosity (ε/q2) of 1000-3000.
An adsorptive porous layer comprising a plurality of adsorption units, each of the adsorption units comprising an adsorbent hollow fibre in which the hollow fibre includes an active component and means for transmitting heat, in which there are at least 50 hollow fibres, and in which a surface area per unit volume is greater than 80 m2/m3.
