The present teachings provide a fuser member. The fuser member includes a substrate layer comprising a polyimide polymer and an alkylthiophosphate.

A fuser member comprising:
- a substrate layer comprising a polyimide polymer and an alkylthiophosphate
- a cushioning layer disposed on the substrate layer;
- and
- a release layer disposed on the cushioning layer.

- an intermediate layer comprising a material selected from the group consisting of silicone and fluoroelastomer;
