Abstract

An electronic analysis circuit of a multicontact passive-matrix tactile sensor including an electrical supply mechanism powering one of two axes of the matrix, and a mechanism detecting electrical characteristics along the other axis of the matrix, at intersections between the two axes. The supply axis and the detection axis are alternated. A multicontact passive-matrix tactile sensor includes an electrical supply mechanism powering one of the two axes of the matrix, a mechanism detecting electrical characteristics along the other axis of the matrix, at the intersections between the two axes, and such an electronic circuit.

Dependent claims

An analyzer electronic circuit of a passive-matrix multicontact tactile sensor comprising:

means for energization of one of two axes of the passive-matrix multicontact tactile sensor;
means for detecting electrical characteristics on the other axis of the passive-matrix multicontact tactile sensor at intersections between the two axes;
and
means for analyzing data corresponding to the detected electrical characteristics by
filtering the data,
determining one or more contact areas on the passive-matrix multicontact tactile sensor based on the data,
determining a barycenter for each of the one or more contact areas, and
interpolating the contact areas,
wherein the energization axis and the detection axis are alternated.
