A novel maize variety designated 10096210 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof, produced by crossing Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprises crossing maize variety 10096210 with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 10096210 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety 10096210, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety 10096210. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety 10096210.
A maize variety hybrid 10096210, produced by crossing a first plant of maize variety PHH5G with a second plant of maize variety PHGNF, wherein representative seed of said varieties PHH5G and PHGNF have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-9710 and PTA-9946, respectively.
A seed of maize variety hybrid 10096210, produced by crossing a first plant of maize variety PHH5G with a second plant of maize variety PHGNF, wherein representative seed of said varieties PHH5G and PHGNF have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-9710 and PTA-9946, respectively, said hybrid seed further comprising a transgenic event.
A converted seed of maize variety hybrid 10096210, produced by crossing a first plant of maize variety PHH5G, or a locus conversion thereof, with a second plant of maize variety PHGNF or a locus conversion thereof, wherein representative seed of said varieties PHH5G and PHGNF have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-9710 and PTA-9946, respectively, said hybrid seed further comprising a locus conversion wherein the converted seed produces a plant that otherwise has essentially the same phenotypic traits as maize variety hybrid 10096210 listed in Table 1, when grown in the same environmental conditions.
