Abstract
An in vitro screening method for identifying a compound with iPLA2β modulating activity.
Claims8
An in vitro screening method for identifying a compound with iPLA2β modulating activity, the method comprising:
- a) providing a preparation of iPLA2β in vitro;
- b) inhibiting iPLA2β by adding calcium activated calmodulin to the preparation;
- c) adding the compound to be screened to the preparation;
- d) adding an acyl-CoA to the preparation;
