Abstract
A piezoelectric transducer that excites longitudinal vibration has a piezoelectric element, and a reinforcing member that is laminated with and affixed to the piezoelectric element and has a first void part. The first void part includes the center part of a location where strain produced by longitudinal vibration in the piezoelectric transducer or the reinforcing member or piezoelectric element is greatest.
Claims15
A piezoelectric transducer that excites longitudinal vibration, comprising:
- a piezoelectric element;
- and
- a reinforcing member that is laminated with and affixed to the piezoelectric element, and that has a first void part being formed in the reinforcing member, the first void part having an opening,
- the opening of the first void part including a center part of a location where strain produced by longitudinal vibration in the piezoelectric transducer, the reinforcing member, or piezoelectric element is greatest,
- an area at which the reinforcing member and the piezoelectric element are in contact is smaller than an area of the piezoelectric element facing the reinforcing member.
