Systems and methods for controlling the speed and direction of vehicles such as tractors.
Claims3
A vehicle control system comprising:
- a steering pinion;
- a sector gear that engages the pinion;
- an assembly coupling the sector gear to a pair of beveled gears;
- and
- a linkage system coupled to the beveled gears such that rotating the steering pinion manipulates the linkage system, the linkage system being configured to provide at least one input to a transmission system.
