A display device module includes a display panel having a first side and a second side, a first receiving container having a first side and a second side, the first side receiving the first side of the display panel, and a grip protrusion formed on the second side of the first receiving container for engaging a jaw of a gripper.

A display device module comprising:
- a display panel having a front side and a rear side;
- a first receiving container having a first side and a second side, the first side receiving the front side of the display panel;
- and
- a grip protrusion formed on the second side of the first receiving container for engaging a jaw of a gripper.

A method of handling a display device module comprising:
- engaging the display device module using a jaw of a gripper, wherein the jaw engages a grip protrusion formed on an outer surface of a receiving container receiving a display panel of the display device module;
- and
- lifting the display device module;

- transporting the display device module.
