RF transactions using a wireless reader grid

A method comprising:

• receiving, from a first Radio Frequency (RF) payment fob associated with a first fob user, a first transaction request at a secondary Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader of an RFID reader grid;
• communicating said first transaction request to a host RFID reader of said RFID reader grid via a wireless signal, wherein said host RFID reader transmits a transaction request response to said secondary RFID reader;
• and
• during said communicating said first transaction request to said host RFID reader, receiving, at said host RFID reader, a second transaction request directly from a second RF payment fob associated with a second fob user.

A tangible computer-readable medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions that, if executed by a system, cause the system to perform a method comprising:

• receiving, from a first Radio Frequency (RF) payment fob associated with a first fob user, a first transaction request at a secondary Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader of an RFID reader grid;
• communicating said first transaction request to a host RFID reader of said RFID reader grid via a wireless signal, wherein said host RFID reader transmits a transaction request response to said secondary RFID reader;
• and
• during said communicating said first transaction request to said host RFID reader, receiving, at said host RFID reader, a second transaction request directly from a second RF payment fob associated with a second fob user.
