Water contact indicator

A water contact indicating system comprising

• an adhesive article comprising
• a first layer comprising a transparent film and an adhesive, the first layer having a first major surface and a second major surface;
• a second layer comprising a fluid transport substrate, the second layer having a first major surface and a second major surface, the first major surface of the second layer being partially in contact with the second major surface of the first layer and partially exposed;
• and
• a third layer comprising a fluid transportable ink, the third layer being associated with the second major surface of the second layer;
• and
• a device in contact with the third layer,
• wherein the first layer extends beyond the second and third layers so that the adhesive is in contact with the device;
• and wherein there is a hole through the first layer exposing the second layer.
