The invention relates to a tourbillon mechanism comprising at least one platform, a balance arranged on the face of the platform(s), an escapement mechanism being arranged on the other face.

A tourbillon mechanism with a rotary stand carrying a balance and an escapement mechanism actively connected to each other, the tourbillon having a sleeve-like main arbor rigid with a main bearing operable to rotatably mount the rotary stand with respect to a base about a first rotation axis, the balance being arranged on one side of the main bearing and the escapement mechanism arranged on an opposite side of the main bearing.
