Abstract
A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having, on a support, at least each one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers containing yellow-, magenta-, or cyan-dye-forming-coupler, and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, wherein at least one of the dye-forming couplers is a dye-forming coupler that forms an azomethine dye having a solubility of 1×10−8 mol/L to 5×10−3 mol/L in ethyl acetate; and an image forming method using the light-sensitive material.
Claims32
A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having, on a support, at least one yellow-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one magenta-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one cyan-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, characterized in that:
- at least one of the dye-forming couplers is a dye-forming coupler represented by formula (CP-III) that forms an azomethine dye having a solubility of 1×10−8 mol/L to 5×10−3 mol/L in ethyl acetate by reaction with an oxidized aromatic primary amine compound:
- wherein R31 represents an alkyl group;
- R32 represents an alkoxy group;
- R33, R34 and R35 each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group;
- when R33 an R34 are each an alkyl group, they may combine with each other to form a 3- to 6-membered ring.
An image forming method, comprises exposing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having, on a support, at least one yellow-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one magenta-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one cyan-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, and subjecting the exposed light-sensitive material to development-processing characterized in that:
- at least one of the dye-forming couplers is a dye-forming coupler represented by formula (CP-III) that forms an azomethine dye having a solubility of 1×10−8 mol/L to 5×10−3 mol/L in ethyl acetate by reaction with an oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine compound:
- wherein R31 represents an alkyl group;
- R32 represents an alkoxy group;
- R33, R34 and R35 each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group;
- when R33 an R34 are each an alkyl group, they may combine with each other to form a 3- to 6-membered ring.
