Abstract
The present invention provides an antiwrinkle agent and skin cosmetic composition having excellent alleviating effects on wrinkles appearing due to aging, and especially at exposed locations of skin, and a high degree of safety. The present invention relates to an antiwrinkle agent and skin cosmetic composition comprising a sclareol derivative represented by the following structural formula (1).
Claims3
A method for reducing the appearance of wrinkles on a body comprising applying an effective amount of a composition including a sclareol derivative represented by formula (1):
- wherein, R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated acyl group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms,
- R3 represents an ethyl group in the case R1 and R2 both represent hydrogen atoms, and
- R3 represents an ethenyl group in the case of at least one of R1 and R2 represents the linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated acyl group,
- to skin of the body.
