Abstract
A pulse waveform of a living body is detected and is analyzed using peak point data or timing data to perform a diagnosis of a condition of the body.
Claims20
A pulse wave analyzing apparatus comprising:
- p1 pulse wave detecting means for detecting a pulse waveform from a living body;
- and
- analyzing means for outputting at least one of peak point data or timing data of the pulse waveform detected by said pulse wave detecting means;
- and
- wherein the analyzing means comprises:
- differential means for differentiating the pulse waveform detected by the pulse wave detecting means;
- inflection detecting means for detecting a timing when an output from said differential means is “0”;
- count means for counting a sampling clock;
- and
- means for outputting peak point data or timing data for waveform parameters on the basis of the count value counted by the count means and the amplitude of pulse waveform detected by the detecting means when the output from the differential means is “0”.
